Objectives of the Conference

• Promote digitization and digitalization of co-operatives, chamas and other collectives.
• Attract youth who are the majority in the African continent to embrace the co-operative spirit and become members of societies.
• Promote visibility to innovations, technologies and approaches to enhance digitization and digitalization of co-ops and associated entities.
• Deliberate on legal and regulatory environment that can promote co-operative scalability in the digital space.

Target Participants

The Joint Co-operative Conference 2024 targets public officials, NGOs, policy makers, scholars, co-operative practitioners, players in the technology and finace space, researchers, climate smart crusaders, gender and human rights champions, and well-wishers. The conference provides a platform where participants come together to share experiences, reflect, and learn on creation and improvement of a digital future with special focus on co-operativism.
